UFO Charitable Grant Guidelines
The United Flying Octogenarians (UFO) is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation under the Internal Revenue Code, which manages funds donated for aviation-related charitable activities.
The UFO is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated under Colorado law exclusively for charitable, educational or scientific purposes, including providing funds to organizations that qualify as tax-exempt organizations under IRC 501(c)(3). Funding is made possible by fund-raising activities by the UFO and by donations from individual members, corporations and friends of aviation in the community. UFO’s purpose is to promote longevity and safety in aviation; to represent the interests of senior pilots worldwide; to inspire youth to fly; and to promote fellowship among pilots.

The United Flying Octogenarians Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. Your contributions are tax-deductible.
Income from membership fees does not cover annual expenses, so we are dependent on donations to fill the gap. It is your generosity that enables us to maintain a renewal rate that is affordable by all. Your donations can also help inspire youth to fly, and to promote fellowship among pilots.
